Classification

1. Hot-dip galvanized pipe. The molten metal and the iron matrix are reacted to produce an alloy layer, and the substrate and the plating layer are intended to be bonded. Hot-dip galvanizing is first carried out by pickling the steel pipe to remove the iron oxide on the surface of the steel pipe. After pickling, it is also washed with an aqueous solution of ammonium chloride or zinc chloride, and then sent to a hot-dip bath for hot-dip plating. The hot-dip galvanized coating is relatively uniform, the adsorption capacity is relatively strong, and the life is long.

2. Cold galvanized pipe. Cold galvanizing is electroplating zinc. The amount of galvanizing is relatively small, and the corrosion resistance and service life are much worse than those of hot-dip galvanized pipes.

3. Hot dipped galvanized steel pipe. The zinc-iron alloy layer formed by the reaction between the steel pipe and the plating solution, the alloy layer and the pure zinc layer and the steel pipe are integrated, and the corrosion resistance is relatively strong.

4. Cold galvanized steel pipe. The zinc layer and the steel pipe are separately layered, the zinc layer is relatively thin, the zinc layer is simply attached to the surface of the steel pipe, and the zinc layer is relatively easy to fall off, so cold-galvanized steel pipe is not allowed as the water pipe.

The main purpose

Galvanized pipes are usually used to loosen gas and heat. The galvanized pipe is also used as a water pipe. However, after a few years, a large amount of rust is generated. The yellow water that flows out not only pollutes the sanitary ware, but also causes the inner wall to breed bacteria. . Corrosion can also cause the heavy metal content in the water to exceed the standard, further endangering human health. China's Ministry of Construction has banned the use of galvanized tubes as water pipes since 2000.

Process characteristics

The biggest advantage of sulphate galvanizing is that the current utilization rate is 100% and the deposition rate is very fast. However, because the plating crystallization is not detailed enough, the deep plating ability is poor, and it is only suitable for pipes and wires with simple geometric shapes. After the improvement of the process, iron salt was added to the original solution, which not only inherits the advantages of traditional sulphate galvanizing, but also strengthens the ability of deep plating. Through continuous improvement, the coated crystal grains for wires and tubes are more delicate and shiny than before.
